Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School under 14 side scored the biggest upset of the Vodafone Super Deans under 14 competition after beating favourites Queen Victoria School 18-15 this morning.

MGM led 18-3 at halftime after scoring 3 unconverted tries and a penalty kick at goal while QVS only managed to convert a penalty kick.

QVS scored two tries and a conversion in the second half and also tightened their defence to prevent MGM from scoring any more points but it was not enough as MGM held on to claim the win.

Meanwhile, in other under 14 quarter finals, Marist Brothers High School thrashed Ra High School 46-0, Ratu Kadavulevu School defeated Suva Grammar School 22-12 and Lelean Memorial School overcame Ratu Navula College 15-10.

The under 15 grade is currently underway.
