Vodafone ATH Fiji launches eLibrary initiative to improve advancement of digital education in Fiji

In a bid to improve the advancement of digital education in Fiji, the Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation launched its eLibrary initiative at the Samabula Gospel Primary School today.

According to the Foundation, this is the reflection of its commitment to leveraging technology for the benefit of the children and communities.

Director Trustee of the Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation Manarusa Vanabale, who was the guest speaker at the event today says their investment in education is pivotal during the break-neck pace as the digital world is evolving, which allows the eLibrary initiative to boost the digital learning of kids in Gospel.

Vanabale stressed the importance of the donated computers which will enforce critical thinking of students to do well during their academic journey.

She reiterates the importance of having eLibary in the school curriculum which will provide a wealth of information to children.

Vanabale says this is part of their $55 million dollar investments to the communities in Fiji in helping reshape the learning scape of children around the country.

School Manager Tevita Tamani says in an era where digital learning is paramount, this donation is an investment to their students to help them thrive in the digital age.

He says he is immensely proud that this significant moment has made digital learning a reality for the betterment of these future leaders of the country.

Tamani encouraged the students to use the tools to enhance their learning during this collaboration for a shared vision.

He thanked the Vodafone ATH for their donation which will shape the future of the children.
