13-year-old Vinshika Pal who had been suffering from heart disease, has received a new lease of life after a surgery conducted at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Heart Hospital.

Her father, Rohit Pal says he is grateful to the hospital for providing free services for parents who cannot afford such expensive treatments.

Pal is urging other parents to take their children for screening for early detection.

The single father of two says for a year his daughter has been taking pills to help her with the heart issue that she is facing.

Pal says they were transferred to the Sai Sanjeevani Hospital by the CWM Hospital.

The happy father says a few days after the surgery, his daughter was active and ready to go home.
