The Fiji Police Inter Formation Soccer Tournament will be held next Wednesday to Friday at the Fiji Football Academy Grounds and the major sponsor Vinod Patel has injected $10,000.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Itendra Nair says as the defending Ratu Sukuna Soccer champion, the donation will be a boost to assist with the preparation towards the IDC and the ultimate prize of retaining the title for another year.

Nair says on behalf of the Commissioner he acknowledged the Management for their continuous commitment to supporting the Fiji Police Force for another year.

Vinod Patel Chief Operations Officer Neelesh Singh says this sponsorship, particularly in sports, celebrates and encourages the principles of comradeship and unity that both parties value.

Singh says as the major sponsor, they continue their commitment in 2021 to support the Fiji Police sporting event for two years.

He says the company acknowledges the hard work and the immense contribution that the Fiji Police makes daily towards national law and order, which is not an easy task.

He adds they firmly believe supporting their well-being program is critical.

Last year Vinod Patel sponsored the Fiji Police Men’s Soccer team in the Sukuna Bowl Competition.

Eight men’s teams from the Force will compete for the Commissioners Cup.
