The Village Boys Under 21 side will be the team to watch in the Under 18 to Under 21 category of the 48th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s after making it past the pool stages undefeated.

The side defeated Vuna Brothers 24-7 and Nuku Rugby 10-0 to top their pool earlier today.

Village Boys flyhalf Aminiasi Tuvura Eremasi says they are coming into this competition with a mission and that is to try and win the tournament.

Eremasi says their win in the Fiji Bitter Tabadamu 7s Under 21 competition last week has boosted their morale and they are looking to back that up this weekend.

Village Boys has been ranked the third best team in the competition and will play the winner of the Tovolea Rugby versus Noikoro Babas this afternoon in the second elimination round.

Other teams that are looking good so far in the U21 category are defending champions Dominion Brothers, Coral Coasters, Aloha Taveuni and Bure Brothers.

The first round of the U21 elimination matches are currently underway at the HFC Stadium.
