Vijendra Prakash will continue as National Secretary - Prasad

The President of the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji, Sarju Prasad confirms that Vijendra Prakash will continue as the National Secretary until the final outcome of his case.

The Sabha held its Annual General Meeting in Nausori yesterday and discussed about Prakash's position.

Prasad says the Sabha believes Prakash is innocent until proven guilty in court.

Prakash was charged by FICAC for allegedly claiming for parliamentary allowances he was not entitled to.

He is alleged to have falsely stated that his permanent place of residence was in Waidracia, Vunidawa, Nabuni, Naluwai, Naitasiri and allegedly obtained $33,670 between August 2019 and March 2020.
