The High Commission of India in Suva has launched the video for the 12th World Hindi Conference at Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre.

The event is aimed to reach out and create awareness among the general public regarding the World Hindi Conference that will take place from 15th to 17th February 2023 in Nadi.

High Commissioner P.S. Karthigeyan says to officially launch the promotional video for the upcoming conference is a delightful moment.

Karthigeyan says this event is extensive as it is the first time the conference is happening in the Southern Hemisphere, as the event has a long history since 1975.

He says they are poised to host a benchmark event that will remain in memories as the event is to showcase, promote and create more awareness.

There will be roadshows done in Labasa, Lautoka and Ba prior to the World Hindi Conference.

Dr Indu Chandra, a retired USP Lecturer, says it will be a historic occasion for the citizens of Fiji and urges people who love Hindi to come forward and register themselves in order to participate in the event.
