Vancouver 7s: Fiji to face physical encounter in Pool stages - Gollings

Fiji Airways Men’s 7s Coach Ben Gollings.

The Fiji Airways Men’s 7s side is expecting a physical encounter during the pool stages of the Vancouver 7s where they will meet three teams that play a similar style of rugby.

Fiji is in Pool A with England, Kenya and the USA.

Coach Ben Gollings says it’s good they have a strong pool as it enables them to re-focus their strategy.

He says every game is a winnable game for them as long as they are in the right mindset and are focused because the three teams can cause an upset.

Gollings adds the approach for them is analysing their opponents and coming up with the correct game plan.

Fiji will meet England in their first match at 5.53am Sunday, they will then take on Kenya at 9.04am Sunday in their second match and play USA at 12.35pm Sunday in their final pool match.
