Valetini, Daugunu, Hodgman and Gleeson in Wallabies squad for July tests series

Four players with links to Fiji have been named in the Wallabies squad for the upcoming July tests including Rob Valetini, Filipo Daugunu, Alex Hodgman and Langi Gleeson.

Players like Suliasi Vunivalu, Marika Koroibete and Mark Nawaqanitawase did not make the cut.

Vunivalu and Koroibete were dropped due to injuries while Nawaqanitawase is currently training with the Australian 7s extended squad that is currently preparing for the 2024 Olympics.

There are 13 uncapped players named in the Wallabies squad including former All Blacks prop Hodgman.

Star utility back Kurtley Beale has also forced his way back into the squad after an impressive outing for the Western Force this season.

Allan Alaalatoa, Angus Blyth, Charlie Cale, Matt Faessler, Nick Frost, Langi Gleeson, Alex Hodgman, Tom Hooper, Isaac Kailea, Fraser McReight, Josh Nasser, Zane Nonggorr, Billy Pollard, Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, Ryan Smith, James Slipper, Taniela Tupou, Rob Valetini, Jeremy Williams, Harry Wilson and Liam Wright.

Backs:

Kurtley Beale, Filipo Daugunu, Ben Donaldson, David Feliuai, Josh Flook, Jake Gordon, Len Ikitau, Andrew Kellaway, Darby Lancaster, Noah Lolesio, Tom Lynagh, Tate McDermott, Hunter Paisami, Dylan Pietsch, Hamish Stewart, Nic White and Tom Wright.

The Wallabies will take on Wales on Saturday 6th July at Allianz Stadium in their first test.
