Former French International Virimi Vakatawa will spend the off-season with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua while on an extended break in the country.
Vakatawa, who is originally from Naluwai, Naitasiri, and a former student of Nasinu Secondary School, has spent most of his playing career in France, winning 31 caps and making multiple appearances at the World Sevens Series.
The Drua says Vakatawa’s presence at the Drua Base during off-season will highly motivate players, who are currently in pre-season preparations.
The Drua will face Moana Pasifika in their first Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific match next season on February 14th at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
