Urgent call made to everyone to donate items in an emergency relief underway in Nadi and Lautoka today

An urgent call is being made to everyone to donate clothes, beddings, kitchenware and sanitary items as about 800 families were severely affected by the recent floods during TC Cody and are in desperate need of these items.

The Small Micro Enterprise Network in collaboration with FRIEND Fiji has organised an emergency relief to assist these families, and if you would like to help, you can drop off your donations at the McDonald's outlets in Nadi and Lautoka.

Speaking on behalf of the Fiji SME Business Owners Network, Kim Beddoes says the affected families are from the Nadi, Ba and Tavua areas.

Beddoes is calling on people in the west who are not affected by the flood to come and help their neighbours who are in need.

The CEO and Founder of FRIEND Fiji, Sashi Kiran says they are grateful for the initiative organised by Kim Beddoes to support families.
