There is an urgent call made by the Tongan Community in Fiji for people to donate a bucket of Breakfast Crackers or $25 for the Tongan families who were severely affected by the volcanic eruption and are in need of food.

WOWS KIDS Fiji Founder Sina Kami who is organising this Tonga Volcano Appeal Bucket Drive says they have spoken to their families in Tonga and they have identified that doing this Appeal will help provide food and water storage containers.

Kami says they are working with government in trying to get this shipment across to Tonga.

She says they managed to speak to their family members five days after the volcanic eruption.

If you would like to provide assistance to help the Tongan families, you can get the details on our Hands Across Fiji section of our website, fijivillage.

If you want to assist these families, you can contact Sina Kami on 9026710 or email sinakami@gmail.com or you can drop off your donation at Api Tonga Community Centre at Laucala Bay Road from tomorrow.
