Minister of Education Aseri Radrodro

As the secondary schools rugby competition grows closer to the Vodafone Super Deans National Finals, the Minister of Education Aseri Radrodro is reminding students that unruly behaviour and violence will not be tolerated.

Radrodro says the Ministry has met with the heads of both schools that were involved in the stoning incident two weeks and also the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union and has told them that student safety is always a priority.

He says the heads of schools and the FSSRU have given the assurance that they will ensure they will step up in their roles and responsibilities in ensuring the safety of the students in any school sporting events.

The Minister says the Ministry is concerned with the safety of all the students within the school environment.
