The University of the South Pacific has closed the Residential Halls at the Laucala Campus as five residential students have been swabbed by the Ministry of Health as secondary contacts to a contact to a positive COVID-19 case.

USP says they have closed the Halls to ensure there is no unnecessary movement while they await the swab test results.

They will await further advice from the Ministry of Health.
