USP Pro-Chancellor congratulates PM Rabuka on election

University of the South Pacific Council and Community Pro-Chancellor and Chair of Council, Dr. Hilda Heine extends her heartiest congratulations to the Prime Minister of Fiji, Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka on his election as Prime Minister.

Pro-Chancellor Heine wishes Rabuka and his administration every success for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of Fiji.

She says the University Council and Community is humbled and elated with the Government’s decision to pay Fiji’s outstanding grant and to allow the Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Pal Ahluwalia and his spouse to re-enter Fiji.

Pro-Chancellor Heine further says the USP Council, Management, Students, Staff and Stakeholders look forward to working collaboratively with the Government and the Minister of Education, Aseri Radrodro, the Government of Fiji’s representative to the USP Council.
