The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team got off to an impressive start in their first game at the Vancouver 7s beating England 27-12.

Vuiviawa Naduvalo wasted no time as he displayed his speed and got a try for himself in the first minute of the game.

Vice Captain Waisea Nacuqu displayed his class and experience scoring a try in the first half and getting his second for the game in the second half.

Nacuqu's tries takes his tally up to 100 tries on the series since making his debut in 2014.

Kaminieli Rasaku and Pilipo Bukayaro also got tries for Fiji in the second half.

England managed two tries as Fiji was too powerful in defence keeping them back inside their territory for most of the game.

The Fiji 7s team will meet Kenya at 9.04am in their second match and play USA at 12.35pm in their final pool match today.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 5.40am Monday, the semis will start at 9.44am Monday while the Cup final will be played 12.58pm Monday.
