The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team has been knocked out of the main cup competition after losing to USA 27-7 this morning.

USA dominated the game from the kick-off as they exposed the Fijiana’s defence scoring 3 tries in the first spell and grabbing another two in the second spell.

Raijeli Daveua managed to score a converted try in the 4th minute of the second half but it was not enough to help them.

They will now play Great Britain in the 5th place semi final at 1.50pm today.

In the first quarter final, Australia beat Great Britain 38-0.
