Two men aged 24 and 26 years with links to the KVT criminal syndicate in Australia have been arrested by New South Wales Police.

Raptor Squad officers charged the two men for allegedly attempting to access 128kg of illegally imported drugs under Strike Force Keysbrook.

NSW Police say Strike Force Keysbrook was established earlier this year to investigate shots fired at a home in Concord on Thursday 3rd July 2025.

As investigations into those allegedly responsible for the shooting continued, police came across evidence to suggest the group were also allegedly involved in the importation of consignments of illicit drugs into NSW.

On Saturday 25th October 2025, a consignment arrived at Sydney Airport allegedly containing 128kg of cocaine.

The consignment was seized by Australian Border Force and officers attached to State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad, with the Australian Federal Police, seized the cocaine which has a potential street value of AUD$63 million.

On Monday, Raptor Squad officers with the Australian Federal Police observed two men allegedly attempting to access the consignment at a freight forwarder in Alexandria.

About 2.30pm, the two men were arrested on Hunter Street in Condell Park. Subsequent search warrants were then executed in Kingswood and Lalor Park.

During the searches, police located and seized AUD$18,000 in cash, 4kgs of cocaine, 110grams of methamphetamine, and 4kgs of an unidentified crystal substance.

The men were taken to Bankstown Police Station, where the older man was charged with attempt to possess commercial quantity unlawful import: border controlled drug, supply prohibited drug large commercial quantity, recklessly deal with proceeds of crime and participate in a criminal group.

The younger man was charged with attempt to possess commercial quantity unlawful import: border controlled drug and participate in a criminal group.

The men were refused bail to appear in Bankstown Local Court today.
