Two men allegedly linked to Police Commissioner’s identity theft have been charged and will appear in Suva Magistrates Court today.
Police say the two are alleged to be connected to a suspect charged last week for using the Commissioner’s name and photo to receive money from members of the public.
They say after consultation with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, the two men have been jointly charged with one count of identity theft.
Investigations continue into their possible involvement in other similar cases.
