Two girls with links to Fiji chosen to be part of the USA national netball team

Leba hails from Beqa while Lidi is from Savudrodro

Two girls with links to Fiji who are current members of the Santa Rosa Netball club in California, have now been chosen to be part of the USA national netball team.

Leba Waqa and Elizabeth Lidi will be part of the team that will tour UAE in June this year.

The USA netball team is currently ranked 30th in the world.

USA Netball board of trustee, Litia Daugunu says right now, their ranking is low and they need to win some games as they play against some other international teams.

Leba hails from Beqa island while Lidi is from Savudrodro, Savusavu.

They first played together as a team in Baltimore last week as they all live in different states.

Their second round of games will be this weekend in Atlanta, Georgia.
