Two die in vehicle fire in Viseisei

Two people have died in a vehicle that caught fire along Viseisei Bypass Road in Lautoka this morning.

The identity of the two victims are yet to be confirmed.

The incident occurred at after 6am.

The vehicle was travelling from Nadi towards Lautoka when it veered off the road before it crashed into a tree.

Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says due to the impact of the accident, the vehicle caught fire, and unfortunately the two victims were trapped inside.

Meanwhile, another car caught fire at Ratu Dovi Road in Laucala Beach this morning.

We have sent questions to Police and NFA regarding the incident.
