The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side will be relying on the experience of Jerry Tuwai to give them the control they need on the field

Coach Ben Gollings says Tuwai’s leadership on the field will be vital for the team as they look to finish the 2022/2023 World 7s series strong.

Gollings says Tuwai is a standout performer and he brings a lot of experience into the team and adding him to the squad for these last two tournaments is great for them.

He further says Tuwai is a great confidence booster for some of the young players in the squad and he adds to the great balance that the team has.

Fiji will play the USA at 12.57 midnight tonight in their first pool match, they play South Africa at 7.03am tomorrow and battle France at 12.11am Sunday in their final pool game. The cup quarter-finals will start at 3.16am Sunday, the cup semi-finals will begin at 11.32pm Sunday and the cup final will be held at 3.56am Monday.
