Dual Olympic gold medallist Jerry Tuwai says he is proud of the young players in the team and how they showed courage and teamwork in the Oceania 7s.

Speaking after their 12-5 victory against New Zealand, Tuwai says they put pressure on New Zealand because they understand New Zealand is a hard team to beat.

Fiji won three matches and lost three.

Meanwhile, New Zealand was crowned the Men’s champion while the Black Ferns Ma won the women’s competition.
