Double Olympic gold medalist Jerry Tuwai says he is confident with the new boys named in the Fiji Airways 7s team and is looking forward to playing with them at the Hamilton 7s that will be held this weekend.

Tuwai thanked the almighty for giving him another opportunity and believes that the new squad has proven itself to the national coach.

He says the inclusion of Josese Batirerega from the Dominion Brothers 7s team will boost their defence and help them bring back the titles from Hamilton and Sydney.

He adds the boys have trained well and believes they are well prepared for the challenge.

Meanwhile, Fiji will take on France at 8.32am Saturday in their first pool match, they will play Kenya at 12pm Saturday and face Cape Town 7s champions Samoa at 3.06pm Saturday in their final pool match.

The Men’s Cup quarter-finals will start at 9.58am Sunday, the semi-finals will begin at 1.48pm Sunday, and the final will be played at 6.56pm Sunday.
