Turbo ruled out, Cherry-Evans cleared to play

Turbo ruled out, Cherry-Evans cleared to play

Manly Sea Eagles try-scoring machine Tom Trbojevic has been ruled out from tonight's match against the Canberra Raiders.

The Eagles opted to take the cautious route because of a hamstring that he suffered during last week’s loss to the Warriors in Auckland.

Daly Cherry-Evans, who also suffered an injury last week, has been cleared to play tonight.

Manly made 12 errors in last week's defeat and knows the Raiders will make them pay if they produce a similar performance tonight. Canberra will travel north full of confidence after a comprehensive victory over the Broncos at GIO Stadium.

Raiders fullback Xavier Savage is set to make his return from suspension, however, captain Joseph Tapine has one more week to serve before he is back on the field.

The Sea Eagles will take on the Raiders at 7.15 tonight.

Meanwhile, the Eels will meet the Bulldogs at 5.05 this afternoon.
