The new Attorney General Siromi Turaga was welcomed by staff of the Attorney General's Office today.
The former Nadi Magistrate met and spoke with the staff.
He was also hosted to an afternoon tea by the staff.
Turaga had earlier said that they will focus on the rule of law, good governance and transparency.
He also said after his appointment that all proposed laws will go through proper public consultation.
