Turaga na Tui Cakau, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu

The Turaga na Tui Cakau, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu has reminded the chiefs who are part of the Cakaudrove Provincial Council Meeting about the importance of advocating for the value of education among youths in the communities.

Ratu Naiqama emphasises that education is the key to their well-being, regardless of the field they choose, as it equips them with the necessary skills to succeed in life.

He says whether they aspire to become a farmer, fisherman, church pastor, or even a parliamentarian, education will enable them to perform to the best of their abilities.

Ratu Naiqama is encouraging children to study hard to enhance their credentials, and for those born as chiefs, to further elevate their chiefly status through education.

He also stated that instilling discipline can help to curb criminal activities in our societies.

Ratu Naiqama has also highlighted that cadetship is acceptable to him, but he urges them to take the matter seriously and restore discipline in their various settings.
