Fiji Labour Party Leader Mahendra Chaudhry says their alliance with the Turaga Na Momo Tui Ba, Ratu Filimoni Lagivala Nale is only with Ratu Filimoni and not the other chiefs of Ba.
Chaudhry says they are renewing the links and relationship that existed once before with the FLP and the Tui Ba and his family.
While speaking as the chief guest at the Fiji Labour Party Annual Delegates Conference, Ratu Filimoni said as Tui Ba he welcomes and encourages the move for an alliance with the Labour Party.
He says he knows that the FLP leadership will always have the interest and the welfare of the Ba Province and Fiji at heart.
Ratu Filimoni who is the traditional high chief of Ba in the district of Bulu says he gives his blessing to this alliance and hopes that working together in the spirit of unity and understanding we can form even closer ties between our various communities.
