Truant students tried to beat the system at Suva Zone II

Police doing their random checks at Suva Zone II

More than 10 students who do not attend any of the schools that participated in the Suva Zone II were stopped by Police at the gates at the ANZ Stadium and returned to their schools yesterday.

Some of these students showed up in their school uniform while others were in outings but their school uniforms were found in their bags after being searched at the gate.

Police officers searched all individuals entering the ANZ Stadium and Navy and Army officers were also stationed around to avoid any incidents.
