Traditional jewellery businesswoman, Suman Prakash plans to fulfill her father’s wishes this Diwali by helping underprivileged and needy people.

Prakash says she also runs her private charity and will be going to Father Law Home and Valelevu HART to provide people with sweets, eating utensils and deodorant.

She says it was her father's dream to always help the less fortunate and she will be fulfilling it with the help of her family and friends and from the earnings of her business.

Prakash says as people are celebrating Diwali after a lapse of 2 years, the excitement is high.

She says her business is also boosting as people are now busy with last-minute Diwali shopping therefore her sales have been increasing as well.

She says as the borders have also opened, more online sales are being made as well.

Prakash who is in her 30s says since the cost of living is high, she encourages people not to get ripped off this Diwali and to take advantage of the discounts and specials that are in store.

She wishes everyone a Happy and Safe Diwali, encourages people to keep smiling and reach her for help during difficult times.
