Tilotma Singh

For the very first time, 71-year-old Tilotma Singh of Princes Road in Suva and her family will be celebrating Mother's Day at home due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

Singh says every year they used to go out for dinner but this time her son will cook dinner for the family.

She says she got a surprise breakfast prepared by her sons and grandchildren this morning.

Singh is encouraging children who have mothers and those who don't have mothers but have someone who is taking care of them to love and give them the respect they deserve.

She says parents make a lot of sacrifices for their children and in return, they do not want any gift but just need love and their children’s support.
