National Federation Party President Pio Tikoduadua says things have been done to him and he is not scared after Acting Prime Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said in Parliament that Tikoduadua is scared.

This is after Health Minister Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete said that he is irritated about the lack of respect by Tikoduadua towards the Speaker of Parliament Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

Tikoduadua then raised a point of order and said that Ratu Epeli had already made a ruling and it is not about disrespect.

The NFP MP says he respects the Speaker but it does not mean he has to agree with him all the time.

Tikoduadua adds Ratu Epeli knows this and there is no disrespect.

Dr Waqainabete then said that he hopes all the Members in Parliament respect the independence of the Speaker and the work he does.
