Minister of Home Affairs Pio Tikoduadua.

With the increasing number of drugs cases and cases of some drug users even raping their mother and sister, the Minister of Home Affairs Pio Tikoduadua says this is an issue of national security.

Tikoduadua says they are discussing ways of improving this situation and they are not denying that the country is facing the issue.

He says the Government is taking certain measures like setting up of the Narcotics Strategy and Bureau to handle these cases, reforming the Fiji Police Force, and having the national security defence review.

Tikoduadua says the government will do and exhaust all means possible to save the people from this drug issue.
