Some came with their mats and sat down with family and friends with their grog, while their children enjoyed the music and the amazing giveaways on offer.

A group that spoke to fijivillage News say they came all the way from Labasa just to enjoy the FM96 Big Night Out as they had marked it on their calendar.

Also making history on the FM96 Big 96 Countdown with Vodafone is a local song that scooped the number 1 spot for the first time, and that honour goes to Fiji's first all female band Marama, for their song Marama Dina.
