Thousands of people in the Rewa Delta to experience water disruption from 9pm tomorrow till 5pm Saturday

Thousands of people living in the Rewa Delta, Tailevu South, and Nausori Town will be experiencing low water pressure to no water from 9pm tomorrow till 5pm Saturday.

The Water Authority of Fiji says the planned works are to allow contractors to carry out connection works on the new water main near the Rewa Bridge.

It says these works are part of actions on improving water supply to the Greater Suva - Nausori corridor and links to their new Rewa River Water Supply Scheme due for completion in March 2022.

Affected areas include Dilkusha Road, Davuilevu Theological College, Muana, Nava-tuyaba, Toga, Nausori Village, Nausori Town, Lakena Road, Verata Wailevu, Kasavu, Baulevu, Buiduna & Irrigation, Raralevu, Namata, Maumi Village, Vuci Road, Vuci South, Vusuya Road and Naduru Road, Vunimono, Nadali, Bau Road, Nausori Airport and Naselai, Naduru, Molituva Village, Burebasaga, Nakaile and Natogadravu Village, Tikina Bau, Tikina Nakelo, Tikina Tokatoka, Nasilai, Vadrai, Muanaira, Kiuva, Vatani and Dromuna and Tikina Noco Rewa.
