This year’s Fiji Water Flying Fijians team is one of the best as it is the cream of Fiji’s current best rugby players.

These were the words of Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Head of Athletic Performance, Naca Cawanibuka during fijivillage Straight Talk with Vijay Narayan.

Cawanibuka who will be part of the Flying Fijians coaching staff for the upcoming Pacific Nations Cup campaign and also the upcoming Rugby World Cup in France in September says the whole squad is now exposed to professional rugby and have gained the extra amount of mileage playing this game at the very top level.

When asked about his level of involvement in the side, Cawanibuka says his job is to make sure that the players are fit, healthy, and able to compete and perform well on the international stage as there is still a lot of work that needs to be done for the team.

He says all he is trying to do now is to get the boys well prepared heading into the Rugby World Cup.

The Flying Fijians will take on Tonga in round 1 of the PNC at 3pm Saturday at Churchill Park.
