In-form Vodafone Flying Fijians prop Manasa Saulo

In-form Vodafone Flying Fijians prop Manasa Saulo has been picked to start in his third consecutive Pacific Nations Cup match when they take on Samoa on Saturday.

The veteran prop says he is expecting an intense match and is aware of the physicality that the Samoan forwards will bring.

Saulo was not selected for national duties after the 2019 Rugby World Cup as he struggled with form, but forced his way into the team for the PNC after having an impressive season with the Fijian Drua in the Super Rugby Pacific competition this year.

Fiji will take on Samoa at 3.30pm on Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

The first match will see Tonga taking on Australia A at 12pm.
