There had been some conflict with the management team- Labasa team coach

Labasa team coach Imtiaz Khan says he moved out of the pavilion because there was a bit of a misunderstanding with the management team during their Courts IDC match against Tailevu/Naitasiri last night.

Labasa beat Tailevu/Naitasiri 3-2 last night.

In an interview with fijivillage News, Khan says when he had made decisions to come on board there were some conditions that he had respected however, there was a conflict during yesterday's game against Tailevi/ Naitasiri.

Khan says there will be a meeting this morning where the issues will be discussed.

When questioned about him moving out of the pavilion due to some commitments as stated by the Labasa interim coach, Khan says, he will never have commitments in between the games.

He says there needs to be a commitment in the team with responsibility.

The Labasa Coach says there were some disagreements as the team naming had been changed without his consent.

He further says Labasa is a winning team and they are ready to face Ba and win the game.

The coach also wished the Labasa team the best for their game against Ba today.

Meanwhile, Suva is the first team to qualify for the semi finals after beating Rewa 2-1 in their second group match.

In matches today, Lautoka takes on Tailevu/Naitasiri at 1pm, Rewa will take on Navua at 3pm, Suva will faces Nadi at 5pm while Labasa faces Ba at 7pm in their final pool matches.
