The world needs women to survive- Vulakoro

If women stop, the world stops.

This is the theme of the Fiji Women’s Rights Movement’s International Women’s Day celebration that was held at the Fiji Museum today.

Hundreds of people flocked to the Museum to celebrate the lives and achievements of women in Fiji and around the globe.

Fiji’s Vude Queen, Laisa Vulakoro says the world cannot survive without women and if women stop, the world stops just like the theme of today’s event.

She says one thing she always advises women is to take care of their health.

She has also encouraged all women who might have been feeling looked down upon to get up and motivate themselves.
