The man who allegedly murdered his wife in Naqara Village, Waima, Naitasiri last Friday is still in Police custody this morning.
Police say the 28-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed by her husband following a heated argument.
She was rushed to the Vunidawa Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The husband was brought to the Criminal Investigations Department in Suva for questioning over the weekend.
Investigators are awaiting the post-mortem report.
