The Fiji Airways National Men's 7s captain Tevita Daugunu says the four new debutants included in the side for the upcoming Los Angeles and Vancouver 7s will be the x-factors for the team.

He says these new players have been gelling in well with the team which makes the work easier for the coaches.

He further says they add a lot of speed and power to the squad and with the help of the coaches and senior members of the team, these new players will have no problem adapting quickly to the system.

Coach Ben Gollings says the inclusion of these four debutants is a shake-up for the team and an injection of new energy into the squad.

The coach says he is excited about what these four new players will add to the team heading into the upcoming two tournments.

Gollings says he believes players need to step up to the standard that is expected of them if they want to guarantee their spot in the final squad.

The four debutants are Anasa Qaranivalu, Rokoua Rasaku, Alosio Vakadranu and Ponipate Loganimasi.

The LA 7s will be held from next Sunday to Monday 27th February.
