Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says the civil service has been tremendous in the past 4 weeks maintaining community lockdowns, undertaking community screenings, distributing food rations or just lending an ear and providing assistance to their fellow Fijians in these difficult times.

While speaking in Parliament this afternoon, Bainimarama says he thanks the civil servants for making the country proud.

Bainimarama says we eradicated the COVID-19 virus in the first wave and he is confident in our resolve to do that again.
