The biggest question now is for us to ask ourselves how we can keep this momentum going heading into our last two pool matches of this World Cup.

Those were the words of Fiji Water Flying Fijians hooker Sam Matavesi while speaking on What-A-Lad Podcast hosted by former All Blacks 7s player and former Hurricanes outside back James Marshall.

Matavesi says after the historic win over the Wallabies last two weeks, the obvious thing for the players now is how to keep moving up from here.

He says beating the Wallabies last two weeks might be a shocker for some fans and supporters but for the team, they know they have a group of players who are capable of doing the impossible.

He adds playing with a group of players that are confident as well has been really helpful.

Matavesi says they need to keep the momentum going to prevent what happened back in the 2019 Rugby World Cup where they lost to Uruguay in pool stages that cost them a chance to make a knockout stage appearance.

The Flying Fijians will take on Georgia in their third RWC pool match at 3.45am Sunday in Bordeaux.
