The Republic of Cappuccino and ROC Market donates Personal Protective Equipment to tackle the second wave of COVID-19

In an effort to support Fiji’s response in tackling the second wave of COVID-19, The Republic of Cappuccino and ROC Market has gathered assistance to support Fiji’s response in tackling the second wave of COVID-19.

They have donated Personal Protective Equipment which consists of 20 infrared thermometers, 20 set of protective gowns, 500 protective face masks and 50 bottles of hand sanitizers.

The owner of the Republic of Cappuccino and ROC Market, Dilip Jamnadas says the assistance is provided in appreciation of the Fijian Government’s efforts to contain COVID-19.

He says after discussions with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they were able to have this assistance organized and support the nation during the pandemic.

Jamnadas also acknowledged the front-line workers for their tremendous efforts in protecting the lives of Fijian families.

Minister for Health , Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete has thanked Jamnadas and his team for their generosity and timely assistance.

He says a collaborative effort as such is commendable and imperative in overcoming the challenges triggered by COVID-19.
