The Outsourcing industry has been growing tremendously and has been dominantly serving the Australian market.

In a virtual press conference, the Executive Director for Outsource Fiji Sagufta Janif highlighted this and announced their plan of hosting a Fiji Outsource Symposium and exhibition on 2nd February in Auckland this year.

The Symposium will also help them to tap into the New Zealand market.

The Executive Director says Fiji has gained a lot of popularity during the pandemic, especially when their investors and operators were given the green light to continue operations as an essential service provider where other popular locations were not able to offer such services.

Janif says this has allowed businesses and investors from countries like the UK and USA to share discussions with their teams to explore their global operations options in Fiji.

She says Fiji is now being looked at as a premium outsourcing destination by many international businesses, especially with our talented workforce.

She adds our tax incentives and risk diversification opportunities in a sustainable environment allow these businesses to thrive.

Janif says in line with its four-year strategic plan, Fiji will be working closely with its stakeholders and the Fiji government to tap into new markets such as the UK, USA and New Zealand.
