Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Prof. Biman Prasad

The Coalition Government will revive the Economic Summit and expects it to be very inclusive.

This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Finance Professor Biman Prasad while speaking at the India-Fiji Digital Partnership symposium at the Holiday Inn.

Professor Prasad says they are expecting representatives from every sector of the society and the economy.

He believes that will fit very well into the 2023-2024 budget, which by then would have gone through a consultation process with different Ministries and Government Departments.

Professor Prasad says they believe in an open, transparent and an accountable process of making economic policies.

He further says they will build confidence and trust between the Government and all the sectors of the economy.
