The Asia Foundation has launched five books created in Fiji titled Human Rights and Inclusion of People with Disabilities.

The Asia Foundation Regional Representative, Sandra Kraushaar says children with disabilities do realise that they can be storytellers, authors, illustrators, editors and translators no matter what their ability is.

i

Kraushaar says they will be looking for more stories from children with different abilities to showcase Pacific creativity.

She adds the books were transcribed in four languages as English, Itaukei, Fiji Hindi and Fijian sign language, and you can view this through the app called 'Let's Read'.

Meanwhile, Gospel School for the Deaf representative Russell Neate thanks the Asia Foundation for giving them a set of books and to showcase the potential of the children.
