Suva coach Maxwell Thaggard is calling on Fijian football fans to support the team as they have created history by qualifying for the final of the OFC Champions League after beating AS Pirae 4-2 in the second semi final in Vanuatu last night.

Thaggard says they are not only flying the Suva flag but the national flag as well.

He says he is proud of the boys as they came from a 2-2 draw and scored two amazing goals in extra time against the Tahitian side.

Suva takes on Auckland City in the final at 3pm Saturday.

The final will determine who represents the Oceania region at the FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia this December.
