Ten young Fijians will be travelling to India for a Youth Exchange Programme which marks Fiji's third participation in the programme.

While farewelling the Fijian delegations, Minister for Youth and Sports Jese Saukuru emphasised that the Youth Exchange Programme is more than just a chance to travel as it is an opportunity to dive into a world of knowledge, intercultural dialogue, and personal growth.

Saukuru says these Fijians will embrace the challenges that lie ahead as they will shape into fearless global citizens who can ignite change and make a lasting impact.

He also reminded the young delegates that they are not only representing themselves but also their beloved nation, Fiji.

The Minister advised the delegates to embrace the diversity, culture, and traditions that they will encounter in India, for it is through these experiences that they will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the world around them.

Saukuru also emphasized that they are all ambassadors of goodwill and friendship, and it is through their interactions and exchanges that lasting bonds will be formed.

The High Commissioner of India to Fiji H.E Palaniswamy Karthigeyan also expressed his admiration for the past participants and stated that the Fijian delegation always leaves a lasting impression and impact on the people of India.
