The Health Ministry has identified sites of interest following the identification of a new COVID-19 case in Labasa on Friday, 27th August.

The areas of interest include Shop & Save Supermarket, R.B. Patel Supermarket, Goodman & Fielder, Ashok Transport Limited, R.C. Manubhai Limited and Pinto Timberyard.

The Ministry says these sites of interest were closed from 4pm yesterday to allow for a thorough decontamination process as part of their efforts to minimise local and community transmission of COVID-19.

People will be informed when these sites will re-open.
